This program is ideally suited for Franchisee Groups and Coops who can pool together student contacts and prefer to have a singular point of data collection and engagement for their student pipeline.

I'm a small franchisee, is this right for me?

This program is geared towards larger franchisees and coops with at least 1,000 or more contacts. We can run smaller campaigns for individual franchisees, but find this student engagement program works best when you can pool together contact lists and commit to at least a year.

Who is responsible for collecting student info?

Both franchisees and schools can help collect student info. We will help you with landing pages, QR codes, and keywords to easily input student information. If you have students isign up on the Corporate website, you must request Corporate to secure these lists. We can easily import them. Some schools are willing to help you by providing current student enrollment lists as well. It is critical to get their graduation date, as the messages are tailored to their journey to graduation and beyond. 

What sort of content is in these messages?

We work with each group to develop the content of the messages. Corporate can assist with content and message reviews as well. Currently, it is a blend of stylist content (e.g. watch a video, share a tips and tricks page) and specific calls to action to learn more about mentorship, internship, salon visits and career opportunities. The end goal of the annual program is to create Great Clips as the employer of choice, build positive relationships with the school and most importantly relatioships with local salon managers. 

 

How often are messages sent?

We plan to send out messages two times a month at least to your talent community of students. If you are using our landing pages, then we send out a welcome text message immediately upon signup. We also are adding a nice Holiday message on behalf of Great Clips to all participants. 

What happens to student responses to the text blasts?

The team at Daxtra Engage will be sending out the bi-monthly text blasts on your behalf and will provide live interaction with the students.. The goal of the blasts is to get the students to want to learn more about mentorships, internships, salon visits and job opportunities. Those interested students will be directed to the franchisee contact or contacts at the Coop. This contact will be facilitated via Daxtra Engage and will include specific notes about the student including their desired future work location. 

I have my own talent community list; can I use that?

Yes, if you are already collecting your own lists, we can help you with landing pages or list imports. If you are directing your students to the corporate Great Clips landing page, then you’ll have to ask Corporate for regular list exports so we can update your contacts in Engage. 

What can I do with lists of Graduates?

Once students graduate, we can include them in a separate reengagement campaign with messaging aimed at offering job opportunities. Most franchisee’s view these students as potential life long hires and will be treated as such. We will send a congratulatory message upon graduation and or receiving their license.
